Ravi Kashi (B.1968) as he is mostly known, completed his BFA in Painting from the Chitrakala Parishath in 1988 and his MFA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University , Baroda in 1990.
He further did a Master’s degree in English from the Mysore University in 1995.
Kashi has learnt the techniques of handmade papermaking from the Glasgow School of Art, UK and Hanji, a traditional Korean papermaking technique from Jang Ji Bang, Korea.
A professor in CMR University School of Architecture , Bengaluru, Kashi has many publications in English and Kannada to his name.
He lives and works in Bengaluru.
