Born to a humble farmer’s family in a village called Khanyadihi tucked away in a lesser-known pocket of West Bengal, Paresh came to Kolkata aspiring to be an artist.
Post education he shifted to South India taking up a job as an art teacher at a residential public school in Bangalore.
His work has been largely influenced by folk songs, lives of simple tribal people and their folk motifs.
Paresh is noted for his Tempera works and Charcoal & Gold.His works are in the prestigious collections across the world including Bill Clinton and Steve Jobs.
Paresh lives and works in Bengaluru.
